I've been putting off getting an iPad for months, but yesterday I decided to just do it, especially since the new ones are out. So, went to the apple store after work and stood in line for about two hours. There were a couple of scary moments: they ran out of vouchers about 20 people in front of me; then they announced to the person three in front of me that they were out. But, I stuck it out and got one.
So far it's pretty cool. Remains to be seen if it will be an indispensable tool for both personal and work, or if it will just be a time sink.
