It's my birthday today and I thought "New Year, New Blog", kinda. I'll try to keep this updated for the few who read it.
Since my last post over three years ago, a lot has happened. A whole tour in Riga, Latvia has come and gone and now Mark and I are in Havana, Cuba. I'll catch up our three years in Riga in another posting, or two. For now, we're both safe and sound in Havana.
For this assignment I am a management officer for Human Resources (HRO) and Financial Management (FMO). Embassy Havana is a small to medium-sized Post, but doing two jobs at once is constant work. We arrived about five months ago and so far t's going well.
Just a quick update for now, and maybe a few pics below. More about life in Havana, Cuba later.
